샬롬! 몬트리올한인연합교회(MKUC)를 찾아 주신 여러분을 우리의 참 평화 되시는 예수님의 이름으로 축복하고 환영합니다.

 

저희 교회는 1965년 1월 한 겨울에 주님의 은혜로 세워진 “캐나다 최초 한인교회”로서 이 땅에 하나님의 나라와 의를 이루며 하나님께는 영광과 기쁨이 되었으면 하는 마음 간절하고, 하나님과 세상 앞에서 늘 겸손하고 정직하고자 힘쓰는 교회입니다.

 

우리 교회는 “땅끝까지 예수 그리스도가 구원자 되심을 증거”(사도행전 1: 10)하는 선교 공동체(Missional Church)입니다.

우리 교회는 ‘오직 그리스도 예수의 주님 되심”(고후 4:5)을 선포하는 복음 공동체(Kerygmatic Church)입니다.

우리 교회는 예수 사랑으로 “성령님이 하나 되게 하신 것을 힘써 지키는” (엡 4: 3) 평화 공동체”(Uniting Church)입니다.

우리 교회는 교회 안팎의 지극히 작고 연약한 형제와 이웃을 돌아보고 섬기는(마 25: 40) 사랑 공동체(Caring Church)입니다.

 

물론 우리들의 목적과 비전은 이렇게 분명하지만 우리가 다 이루었다는 아닙니다. 여전히 우리들은 이를 위해 힘쓰고 애쓰며 달려가야 할 길이기에 달려가고 있는 중입니다.

 

오늘 마음 열고 저희 교회를 찾아 오신 만큼 교회에 나와 함께 예배하면 좋겠습니다.

은혜와 진리가 충만한 예배속에서 하나님 사랑 안에 먼저 깊이 빠지는 은혜가 있으면 좋겠고, 예배

후 함께 나누는 성도의 교제를 통하여 주를 향한 우리 모두의 사랑과 믿음이 더욱 견고하게 세워지며 세상을 살아갈 힘과 용기를 얻으면 좋겠습니다. 그리고 더 나아가서 함께 선교하면서 신실한 주님의 제자로 이 땅을 섬기다 하나님 나라 한 가운데서 다시 만날 수 있으면 좋겠습니다.

We bless and welcome you to Montreal Korean United Church (MKUC) in the name of Jesus, who is our true peace.

 

Our church, as “the first Korean church in Canada” established by the grace of the Lord in the middle of winter in January 1965, has a sincere desire to achieve God’s kingdom and righteousness on this earth and bring glory and joy to God. It is a church that strives to be humble and honest.

 

Our church is a missional church that “proves that Jesus Christ is the Savior to the ends of the world” (Acts 1: 10).

 

Our church is a gospel community (Kerygmatic Church) that proclaims “only Jesus Christ is Lord” (2 Corinthians 4:5).

 

Our church is a peace community” (Uniting Church) that “does our best to keep the unity of the Spirit” (Ephesians 4: 3) with the love of Jesus.

 

Our church is a loving community (Caring Church) that cares for and serves the smallest and weakest brothers and sisters inside and outside the church (Matthew 25:40).

 

Of course, our purpose and vision are so clear, but that doesn't mean we've achieved everything. Still, we are running on the road that we have to work hard and run for this.

 

As much as you open your heart and visit our church today, I hope you worship with me at MKUC.

 

In worship full of grace and truth, I hope there is grace to fall deeply into God's love first.

 

I hope that through the fellowship of the Christian who share together, our love and faith towards the Lord will be more solidly established, and we will gain the strength and courage to live in the world. And I hope that we can go further and meet again in the midst of God's kingdom while serving this land as faithful disciples of the Lord while doing missionary work together.
